It’s time to review all the new releases slated to hit Netflix during the last week of June 2024. It’s going to be a packed week with lots of new arrivals, whether it’s licensed TV series, big originals Netflix or some big movies on the way.
like we’re approaching a new month, you’ll want to catch up on all the July 2024 releases. We’ve just learned a bunch more are on the way, so keep it here for the latest. The most anticipated new releases on Netflix this week
A Family Affair (2024)
Coming to Netflix: Friday
We have been waiting for a long time for this movie. Starring Joey King, Nicole Kidman and Zac Efron, the rom-com sees an unexpected romance blossom between a mother and her boss, quickly spiraling into a web of lies and complications.
Flash (2023)
Coming to Netflix: Tuesday
Let’s be honest, the story surrounding the beginning of this film is just as fascinating as the film itself. It is one of the films that closes the DC film universe after James Gunn takes the reins.
Starring embattled star Ezra Miller, the film sees The Flash traveling back in time to change past events.
Sadly, you won’t be able to binge on the DC movies on Netflix, considering that all of the DC movies left Netflix during the first few months of the year.
Supacell (Season 1) Netflix Original
Coming to Netflix: Thursday
Sticking to superheroes for our final pick, we have Supacell which is the latest new series to hail from the UK. In the works for years now, the series comes from Rapman and is about a group of black Londoners who all develop superpowers.
This series is obviously flying under the radar right now, which could mean that Netflix doesn’t necessarily have a lot of faith in it. That being said, they didn’t have much faith in The new baby and see how it turned out.
The cast of the new six-episode series includes Michael Salami, Eddie Marsan, Adelayo Adedayo, Destiny Viva and Travis Jay.
